Randall & Aubin is proud to be featured in the Evening Standard’s selection of London’s all-time greatest restaurants, recognising over 30 years of serving fresh seafood and classic dishes in the heart of Soho.

Randall & Aubin has so thoroughly threaded itself into the fabric of Soho that it now feels bound here for life. Thirty this year, it sits next to an adult shop and across from suspect-looking massage parlours. In 1996, co-owners Ed Baines and Jamie Poulton took the bones of an Edwardian butcher’s shop and decided not to ruin it; as such, it’s a white-tiled beauty, somewhere with the chefs at a counter busy with lobsters, seasonal fish, oysters. From dips to the bread, absolutely everything is made in house, execution is spot on, prices are beyond decent. Somewhat overlooked, except by those who know” David Ellis, restaurant critic, for Evening Standard.
